The plot revolves around the Public Housing Project, a nearby poor “barrio” (neighborhood), and a filthy liquor store called "The Canine Hour", a recognized drug trafficking center and moral corruption spot. The perversion of “the Grandma”, the murder of a well known drug addict, the betrayals, the gossip and the arrival of a young female thug will keep you turning pages.
